Our Journey
1978 – The Beginning of Megah Group
Megah Group was established, laying the foundation for what would eventually become PT Megah Karya Tika Pratama—bringing innovation to construction and manufacturing.
May 19, 1990 – Officially Founded
PT Megah Karya Tika Pratama was formally established as part of Megah Group, focusing on Design & Build services and general construction in Semarang.
Early 1990s – Establishing Base
Head office and workshop were set up at KIC Gatsu Blok 7‑C2, Semarang. Additional operational office opened on Jl. Abdul Rahman Saleh No. 92, Semarang.
2018 – Formal Licensing & GAPENSI Membership
The company obtained its Business Identification Number (NIB) through OSS in December 2018. Joined the GAPENSI (National Construction Association) Central Java chapter in January 2018, solidifying its role in the national construction industry.
2019–2020 – Early Projects & Team Growth
Started recruiting skilled professionals including electrical technicians and project estimators. Handled property developments, electrical installations, and early structural projects.
2021–2022 – Going Digital
Began actively showcasing ongoing projects on social media, including shoreline protection, formwork installation, and multi-story construction. Company culture promoted through public holiday greetings and team highlights.
2024–2025 – Expanding Services
Listed in the business directory as a manufacturing company for light industrial machinery and waste processing equipment.
